Christian Estrosi (UMP) losing ground in Nice, where he is given more win in the first round of municipal, in a poll TNS-Sofres-Logica published Thursday, February 28th by Nice-Matin.
The Secretary of State for Overseas Territories is now credited with 39% of votes in the first round, against 51% in the previous survey dated November 23. In the meantime, Jacques Peyrat (formerly UMP), a candidate for a third term, has increased from 14% to 22% of voting intentions, while the candidate PS-PC-Greens-German MRC Patrick wins 2 points 20%. The candidate dissident PS, Patrick Motard, would get 8.5% of the votes, and the FN, 4.5%, far from its scores of previous municipal elections.

The survey was conducted on 22 and 23 February by telephone among a sample of 600 people representative of the entire population of Nice aged 18 and over and registered to vote.
