Lepoint.fr took the testimonies of many residents of 117 Lafayette course, in the heart of Lyon, where a powerful explosion killed one person and injuring many others Wednesday noon.
Joaquim, waiter in a tavern, 102 Lafayette course
"We are trapped in the halls of Lyon, 102 Lafayette course for over an hour. Issues All except one were jammed onto the street Bonnel," explains Joaquim, an employee of the restaurant Chez Antonin (contacted at 30 to 14 h ).

"My building is 50 metres from the scene of the explosion. At first I thought a bomb. It can neither leave nor enter buildings. They have cut electricity a little after 14 hours." (Contacted at 14 h 15).
Alain, trader at cours Lafayette 90:
"The walls of my shop shook. I am on the outskirts of the large security perimeter established by the law enforcement agencies. For the moment we have not been evacuated, but firefighters feared another explosion." (Contacted at 14 h 15).
Carolina, used an employment agency Acting:
"One of my colleagues, who was evacuated, informed me that they had heard two powerful explosions, the second most violent," says Caroline, an employee of the temp agency located at 95 Lafayette course. "My own husband who works rue Eugène Deruelle was evacuated," she says. "The course is blocked Lafayette. Firefighters are everywhere and continue to arrive. Here, we do not see flames but there are a lot of white smoke," added the young woman (contacted at 14 h 10).

"At the time of the explosion, all the windows shook. Front of our window, bystanders began to scream. Surprised, we went out to see what was going on and we saw a big cloud of smoke.
